Batik Kunyit inspired by the Turmeric flowering plant used in most Traditional Malaysian Cooking. It's long leaf blades are thin, elliptic to oblong-lanceolate, and during the flowering season, tiny, bright blossoms appear on the plant's lengthy stems, adorned with long, green, lance-shaped leaves. Great for medicinal purposes and cooking, we specifically chose the Turmeric plant because of it's flower that is used as a part of our Terengganu cooking. Cut into thin slices as salads or as a side-dish, we truly value our culture and made it a part of our Penawar 2023 Collection
Batik Riyan, a symbol of serendipity, embodies the whimsical dance of fate. Serendipity, that enchanting ballet of happenstance where events unfurl in a joyous and fortuitous manner. Riyan emerges from the tapestry of our Ilham 2020 Collection, a manifestation of the "Chinoiserie" aesthetic. This style draws inspiration from the European fascination with and emulation of Chinese and East Asian artistic customs, adorning realms ranging from decorative arts to garden design, architecture, literature, theatre, and harmonies of music.
